5. AI-Assisted Content Generation

Availability. The Platform offers optional AI features that generate lesson drafts, chapters, exercises, images, and audio from prompts, settings, and files you provide. AI features are available to school administrators and to teachers whom their school has granted access. Students do not have access to AI generation.

Accuracy and your responsibility. AI output is produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your learners. It is a draft, not finished teaching material. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and correcting AI-generated content before using it with students. AI output is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, originality, or fitness for any educational purpose.

Your inputs. You must hold the rights to any text, PDF, or image you submit for generation. Do not upload third-party copyrighted material you are not licensed to use, and do not submit personal data about students or any other individual.

Your output. Content generated for your account is treated as your User-Generated Content under Section 4, and the same ownership, responsibility, and licence terms apply. AI output is not unique: similar inputs may produce similar results for other users, and we make no claim that generated content is original or protectable. We bear no responsibility or liability for any content generated by AI features, including its accuracy, suitability, originality, or any consequences arising from its use.

Credits. AI use is metered in credits. Credits are consumed per generation according to the model and content produced, are included with your plan in a monthly allowance, and are reset each month. Additional credits may be purchased at any time for a set fee, as displayed in the Platform settings. Credits have no cash value and are non-refundable. Rate limits apply per user and per school.

Changes to AI features. We may change the underlying AI models, the credit cost of a generation, the monthly allowance, or the availability of any AI feature at any time.

6. Payment and Access Limitations

School admins are required to make timely payments for the services provided by edio.

In the event of non-payment or delayed payment by a school admin, edio reserves the right to limit access to all courses created by that admin until the outstanding payment is settled.

AI credits form part of the school's subscription plan and are governed by Section 5. Where access is limited for non-payment, AI generation may be suspended and any unused credits may be withheld until the outstanding payment is settled.
