VOCABULARY AND PRACTICE

The lesson begins with a weather-based warm-up and leads into core weather vocabulary (e.g. sunny, rainy, foggy, cold, hot, snowy). Students match words with images, listen to pronunciation, and complete gap-fill and multiple-choice tasks to build fluency.

LISTENING AND SPEAKING

Through a video titled "How the weather affects our mood", learners explore how different types of weather can influence emotions. They discuss moods and feelings, make connections to their own experience, and practise answering structured weather-related questions.

GRAMMAR IN CONTEXT

The grammar focus is on Present Simple to describe weather and preferences (e.g. It is cloudy. I like cold weather.). Students choose the correct form and complete fill-in-the-blank and True/False grammar activities.

WRITING AND AUDIO TASKS
