Billing and payments in edio
How edio billing works — subscription plans based on student count, online course invitations, and where to manage your payment details and invoices.
edio pricing is based on how many students you have in your virtual classes. Plans start at €20/month for 5 students and scale in steps up to 500 students; if your school is larger, we'll put together an individual plan for you. Paying annually costs the same as 10 months, so two months are free. Online course invitations and white-label branding are billed separately. All prices are net amounts — VAT is added at checkout according to your location.
How plans work
Your plan sets the maximum number of students you can have in your virtual classes at the same time. The counter on the Billing page shows how many of those places you're currently using, and turns red once you go over the limit — that's the signal to move up a step.
Steps go from 5 students upward, so you only pay for the size your school actually is. As you grow, you move to the next step; you don't jump from a small plan to an enterprise one.
Where to find your billing details
Click your name in the top right corner and select Manage Payments. On the Billing page you can:
see how many students are currently in your virtual classes, out of your plan limit
view and change your subscription plan
check your available online course invitations and top them up
open the Billing portal to manage payment details
manage the white-label add-on
How to change your plan
Your current plan is shown on the left with its student limit and price.
Use the slider to choose how many students you want to include.
The selected plan and its price appear on the right.
Click Subscribe to confirm.
Your student counter turns red when you exceed your plan limit — that's the signal to move to a larger plan.
Online course invitations
Invitations are what you need to enroll students in online courses (marathons). They're billed separately from your subscription — but you still need an active subscription to run courses at all. If you only run online courses and don't teach live lessons, the smallest plan at €20/month is enough: your plan limit counts students in virtual classes, and course students are covered by invitations instead.
To enroll a student in an online course, you need one invitation.
Once activated, the student has access to that course for 6 months.
Unused invitations never expire and stay in your account until used.
Once an invitation is used, it can't be reactivated.
To buy more, click Top Up on the Billing page and choose a pack. Invitations are sold in packs from 10 to 500 — the larger the pack, the lower the price per invitation.
Managing payment details and invoices
Click Billing portal on the Billing page to open your payment settings. There you can update your payment method, change payer information, and view all completed transactions and invoices.
