How to create your first class
Create a virtual class in edio.ai, add your students, and set the schedule now or later.
A virtual class is where your lessons, materials, and students live together. Creating one takes two steps, and only the first is required.
Step 1. Class details
Go to Online lessons and click + Create virtual class.
Drop a file or click browse to add a cover image. This step is optional.
Enter the class name.
Choose Class language and The language we teach in.
Set Lesson duration. The default is 60 min.
Open Students list and pick the students who will attend. You can add several.
Open Teachers list and pick the teachers. Add yourself if you teach this class.
Paste the link to your video call in Call link. Any video service works, and you can add this later.
Click Next.
Step 2. Schedule
This step is optional. Skip it and click Create virtual class if you do not have fixed lesson times yet.
Choose the lesson format: Recurring lesson for classes that repeat every week, or One-time lesson for a single session.
Select the days and time. + Add another day adds more slots for a recurring class.
Set the start date. The end date is optional, so leave it empty for an open-ended class.
Click Create virtual class.
You can add or change the schedule at any time from the class itself, or with Add schedule on the class card. Everything you set here is editable later.

Your class is ready. Add materials to it, then run your first lesson.
